NALC High Option Plan — Aetna® Medicare Advantage
An enhanced level of benefits — for NALC Health Benefit Plan High Option Annuitants with Medicare Parts A and B
If you’re currently an NALC Health Benefit Plan High Option member, you can opt in to NALC High Option Plan — Aetna® Medicare Advantage by visiting your retiree benefits website or by calling us at 866-241-0262 (TTY:711) Monday–Friday, 8 AM–8 PM ET. Provide Aetna with your effective dates for Medicare Parts A and B and your Medicare number (conveniently located on your Medicare ID Card).
If you are not currently enrolled in the NALC Health Benefit Plan High Option, you need to enroll in that plan during FEHB Open Season and then opt in to the NALC High Option Plan — Aetna Medicare Advantage.
Step 1: Enroll as you normally would through the OPM Retirement website at RetireeFEHB.OPM.gov Or you can call 888-767-6738 (TTY:711). Enroll in the NALC Health Plan High Option using enrollment code 321 — Self, 323 — Self plus one, 322 — Self and family.
Step 2: Provide Aetna with your Medicare information. Once you are enrolled through the OPM Retirement website, your basic information will be transferred to us. (Please allow 7–10 business days.) In addition, we will need the following to complete your enrollment which are located on your Medicare ID Card:Log in to your retiree benefits website or call us at 866-241-0262 (TTY:711) Monday–Friday, 8 AM–8 PM ET and provide us with this information.
